tasteNtalk and Sprint to Offer Sprint PCS Customers a Unique Dining Guide
Dec. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Quiescent
Telecommunications Corporation and Sprint (NYSE: FON, PCS), which operates the
largest all-digital, all-PCS nationwide network and is the fastest-growing
wireless carrier, today announced an agreement under which Quiescent will
provide tasteNtalk on the Sprint PCS Wireless Web. Using any Internet-ready
Sprint PCS Phone, customers on the Sprint PCS nationwide network will have
access to tasteNtalk, a wireless dining guide and consumer review service
based on real-time information. tasteNtalk is located under the
"Entertainment/Dining" and "Travel" categories on the Sprint PCS Wireless Web.
Traveling on business, and want to know if there are any Italian
restaurants located nearby? Interested in listening to reviews about a
particular dining establishment? Want to read the latest dining news in your
local paper? Interested in hearing interviews and comments from award-winning
chefs?
tasteNtalk can answer all of these dining dilemmas and more. tasteNtalk is the first wireless dining guide based on real-time information. This information includes descriptions, menus, location, hours, phone numbers, and ratings & audio reviews that other tasteNtalk consumers have left directly from their internet-ready phones. In addition, tasteNtalk offers consumers discounts and incentives from participating establishments. Consumers that leave ratings and reviews earn frequent TnT reward points that can be translated into dining related prizes. Furthermore, consumers can read or listen to news about chefs, restaurants, food and wine -- gathered from various chefs, industry professionals and wine experts/makers.
"tasteNtalk provides a simple, new way for Sprint PCS customers to get the information they want. Additionally, it allows consumers to become part of the reviewing and rating process through tasteNtalk's unique interactive features, while enjoying exclusive tasteNtalk benefits," said Jason Kaufman, vice president, Quiescent Telecommunications.
"tasteNtalk provides useful information to Sprint PCS customers. Just by accessing The Sprint PCS Wireless Web, our customers can get clear access to dining option that best fit their needs -- anytime and anywhere on the Sprint PCS nationwide network," said Chip Novick, vice president of consumer marketing for Sprint PCS.
