The sleek new 15” TFT expands Samsung’s full line of digital/analog TFT monitors, which also includes 17”, 18”, 19” 21” and 24” models. The easy-to-use SyncMaster 152T offers picture-perfect digital image quality without any signal degradation or the hassle of time-consuming adjustments. The SyncMaster 152T is currently shipping. Designed as the ultimate multi-purpose display, the SyncMaster 152T is perfect for use in corporate environments, SOHO settings as well as in the home. This display sports a wide 140° horizontal viewing angle and a 120° vertical viewing angle, a high brightness rate of 250cd/m2, a 330:1 contrast ratio and a response time of less than 25 milliseconds. The 152T is perfect for those who require critical data and graphics that are accurately displayed with photo-realistic image quality including motion video applications, 3D technologies, entertainment, gaming and Web design. The 152T has an ultra-fine pixel pitch of 0.297mm and offers a maximum resolution of 1024 x 768 @ 75Hz.

Samsung’s new 15” monitor offers users the option of using either a digital or analog interface for viewing images and text. The Digital Video Interface (DVI) ensures a shaper, cleaner image and a more accurate representation of the original video source. Since video starts out digital in a PC graphics card, the digital output is directly interfaced to the digital input of the LCD panel and always provides the optimum quality image. In addition, no end-user adjustments are required with a digital display, even when randomly changing resolutions.

When used with an analog input, the SyncMaster 152T offers an easy-access, one-button auto calibration system for greater control over the on-screen image allowing for quick proportioning of screen geometry, contrast, brightness and clock-phase. The On Screen Display system features a comprehensive menu of controls, including auto adjustment, color and image size.

The SyncMaster 152T offers an optional UBS hub with 2 upstream ports and 4 downstream ports. USB simplifies hook up to desktop peripherals -- such as the keyboard, mouse, joystick, printer or scanner -- and offers improved PC-to-peripheral performance.

Samsung’s 152T features Natural Color software which tunes up your display to ensure that the colors you see on your Samsung monitor are consistent with the original images -- from detailed graphics programs to Web site merchandise.

For easy installation and optimum configuration, the 152T has built-in Plug and Play capability that conforms to the Video Electronics Standards Association's (VESA) Display Data Channel (DDC) Type 1/2B standards. Plug and Play automatically configures the monitor with the host computer and selects the optimum resolution and refresh rates to achieve crisp detail, bright colors and razor sharp images.

Samsung’s 152T meets the stringent TCO ’99 standards for low emissions and incorporate a power management system that complies with VESA DPMS, Energy2000 and the Environmental Protection Agency’s Energy Star Standards for energy efficient reduced power consumption.
