Sprint Announces New Sprint PCS Phone SCP-5150
Sprint PCS SCP-5150 by Sanyo Offers the Ultimate in Personal Communications
With Over-the-Air Downloads of Ringers and Graphics and Photo Caller ID
 Dec. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Sprint (NYSE: FON, PCS), which
operates the largest growing all-digital, all-PCS nationwide network and is
the fastest growing wireless carrier, and Sanyo Fisher Company today announced
the nationwide availability of the Sprint PCS Phone SCP-5150 by Sanyo. The
new SCP-5150 features a backlit, 256-color LCD screen that displays
exceptionally vivid and crisp color images. The slender, clamshell-style
handset can easily download ringers and graphics wirelessly via the recently
announced Sprint PCS Ringers & More service.
This new wireless download service connects customers with the best in brand-name music and graphics. Sprint PCS customers can browse the Ringers & More content at Sprintpcs.com or through the Sprint PCS Wireless Web. Music and graphic content are then wirelessly downloaded to the Sprint PCS SCP-5150, and saved as customized ringers or screen savers. Sanyo's remarkably vivid, 256-color LCD screen and robust 16-chord polyphonic sound capability are ideally suited to maximize the Ringers & More user experience. Ringers & More content providers are unlike those of any other download service, and include the best in both music and graphics.
