SmartDraw Named ‘Best Business Application’ for 2002 by SIA

September 2002 - SmartDraw, the #1 choice for business graphics software on the Internet, was awarded "Best Business Application" by the SIA marking the sixth time in seven years SmartDraw has been honored by the organization. The SIA recognize the best software programs that offer free trials on the Internet, as voted on by software authors, developers, journalists and reviewers.

In order to be nominated for the SIA, software companies must allow users to download a trial version of the software before buying. The trial version of SmartDraw is distributed at the SmartDraw.com website, and is functional for 30 days. Every day, more than 5,000 users download the trial.

The SmartDraw product beat out several other popular business programs that offer trialware over the Internet. In the past few years, SmartDraw has also been named SIA's "People's Choice" and "Best Graphic Program."
