The new 151v and 171v utilize advanced image scaling and enhancement and feature Samsung’s improved auto adjustment features to deliver the most superior image quality of any display in its class. The 151v features a crisp 330:1 contrast ratio, a 140°/120° viewing angle and a maximum resolution of 1024 x 768. Weighing only 8.8lbs, this monitor is the perfect choice for consumers looking for a high-quality, versatile display at an affordable cost. The large-screen 171v makes viewing text and images more pleasurable than ever featuring a 350:1 contrast ratio, a wide 150° /125° viewing angle and a sharp 1280 x 1024 maximum resolution.

The new 151v and 171v offer USB capability via an optional USB Hub. Samsung’s self-powered USB Hub includes four downstream ports and one upstream port, eliminating desktop clutter by allowing up to 127 USB peripherals to be connected to the PC through the monitor instead of via the desktop’s parallel and serial ports.

Samsung’s 151v and 171v monitors include Natural Color software. Natural Color software tunes up your display to ensure that the colors you see on your Samsung monitor are consistent with the original images -- from detailed graphics programs to Web site merchandise to printed material.

For easy installation and optimum configuration, the 151v and 171v have built-in Plug and Play capability that conforms to the Video Electronics Standards Association's (VESA) Display Data Channel (DDC) Type 1/2B standards. Plug and Play automatically configures the monitor with the host computer and selects the optimum resolution and refresh rates to achieve crisp detail, bright colors and razor sharp images.
