Samsung SPH-N300 Samsung's new dual-band SPH-N30 is the first phone in the U.S. to meet the Federal Communications Commission mandate for Enhanced 911 capabilities. The new N300 features a Global Positioning System (GPS) chip for emergency location, as well as other location-based services such as driving directions, traffic and entertainment services as they each become available. The tiny, 4.1 ounce SPH-N300 is equipped with the Openwave Mobile Browser 4.1 which allows users to connect to the Internet, view and send email, or browse the Web to check flight schedules, sports scores or movie listings. Users can also utilize the built-in personal information manager (PIM) to keep track of appointments, set reminders for important dates and input to-do lists. The N300's large, high-resolution LCD screen makes menu and Internet navigation quick and easy.

The voice-activated dialing feature on the N300 enables users to dial stored phone numbers with the sound of their voice, by simply speaking the name of the person they'd like to call. The phone book holds up to 199 total phone numbers, with space for up to six numbers for an individual contact. Samsung's N300 also includes multi-lingual (English/Spanish) display capabilities and allows for short messaging where service is available. In addition, it comes with the T-9 text input software that acts as a predictive speller, saving time for consumers as they input information. www.samsungusa.com
