Samsung Introduces Phone With Dual Color LCD Screens

Nov. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Samsung Telecommunications America (Samsung), an award-winning wireless industry leader in product design and innovative technology, today introduced the clamshell-designed SCH-a530, its first product offering with internal and external color display screens.

The a530's main display supports 65,000 colors and eight lines of text, allowing users to play games, browse the Web and download vibrant, true to life images in color. The external display features a 256-color screen with Caller ID and animated graphics.

Even with its sleek and compact design, the a530 will serve as a source of information and entertainment when users download colorful games, images and ringers, as well as Internet content like traffic reports, movie listings, news and sports scores.

The champagne-colored a530 features Short Messaging Service (SMS) that allows users to send and receive e-mail and text messages to and from the phone. This keeps users entertained and in touch with business associates, family and friends.
