PocketMirrorr Software Included on New Palm Tungsten T2 Handheld
July 23, 2003 - Chapura, Inc., an innovator of synchronization technology, today announced that PocketMirrorr Standard software ships with the new Palm Tungsten T2 handheld, offering mobile professionals the immediate freedom to manage personal information while away from their desks by synchronizing with Microsoft Outlook. Chapura and Palm have had a strong relationship for five years, resulting in the recognition and empowerment of Palm handhelds and the industry standard PocketMirror software as effective business tools.
"Chapura has led the way in software development for Microsoft Outlook synchronization for Palm handhelds," says Pete Ellis, business development manager, Palm Solutions Group. "Bundling PocketMirror software from Chapura with Palm's powerful and innovative handhelds has helped Palm offer a winning solution for our customers."
Productivity and Organizational Tools of PocketMirror Standard
- Stay prepared and informed by synchronizing the Outlook Calendar, Contacts, Tasks and Notes with the Palm Date Book, Address Book, To Do List and Memo Pad.
- Multiple handhelds can synchronize to the same Outlook profile, so any group may access the most current data.
- For extra mobility, synchronize to the same Exchange Server folders from any PC connected to the server.
- Eliminate potential for typos by editing information only once on the PC or the handheld. Keep information accurate and current in both places using the quick and simple, one-button synchronization.
"When it comes to offering the enterprise market a reliable solution for mobile personal information management, PocketMirror Standard and the Palm Tungsten T2 handheld are a natural fit, just as the relationship between Chapura and Palm has been," says Keith Ellenberg, chief operating officer for Chapura. "Chapura offers the friendly service, expert support and reliable software that add usefulness to any Palm handheld for an exceptional, out-of-the-box synchronization experience."
