Plantronics Brings a Touch of Style to Call Centers and Offices

The new behind-the-head version of DuoPro, model H181, offers a fresh, contemporary style providing stability and comfort for all-day wear. As with all Plantronics products, the new DuoPro model provides world-class sound quality and is available with a choice of a noise-canceling microphone or Plantronics' trademark voice tube. The noise-canceling model features a unique anti-twist boom that keeps the microphone properly aligned to permit clear, accurate conversations.

All versions of the Plantronics DuoPro headset family feature innovative styling, a swivel-mounted microphone joint for flexibility and built-in cord management for balance. Durability has been designed into the DuoPro family, with metal-reinforced pivot points to withstand the demands of all-day, everyday use.

"Adding a neckband to create a behind-the-head wearing style is a natural evolution for the DuoPro family," said Paul Ewer, product manager for the DuoPro H181. "Many people, and particularly younger wearers, prefer the behind-the-head wearing style that's become very popular with many audio products."

The neckband on the new DuoPro will also be offered as an accessory, giving current DuoPro users another wearing option. In addition, the neckband accessory can also be used with Plantronics DuoSet headset. The DuoSet is a convertible headset that can be worn in either the over-the-head or over-the-ear wearing style. The neckband accessory includes an adapter that allows the neckband to attach to the DuoSet.

Pricing and Availability
The new DuoPro H181 behind-the-head style headset will be available nationwide in mid-September from Plantronics' distributors and online at http://www.plantronics.com/. The MSLP for the DuoPro H181 voice tube model is $119.00; the DuoPro H181N model with noise-canceling microphone is $144.00. The DuoPro is backed by a two-year warranty. The MSLP for the individual neckband accessory is $20.00.

The new DuoPro model, along with Plantronics complete line of headsets for the call center, office, and mobile and computer applications will be on display at the Plantronics booth #533 at the ICCM show in Chicago, IL from July 30 - August 1.
