New Line of HP Address & Shipping Labels Now Available at OfficeMax

July 22, 2003 - A new line of HP White Address & Shipping Labels are now available exclusively at OfficeMax, offering customers a single label for both inkjet and laser printers. Optimized for HP LaserJet and inkjet printers, the labels are also compatible with non-HP branded printers.

In 2002, labels represented $420 million in retail sales in the United States, according to The NPD Group/NPD Techworld U.S. Point of Sale Data report. This represents cut-sheet labels used with laser and inkjet printers and copiers for addresses, shipping labels and file folders.

The labels are available now through an exclusive agreement with OfficeMax, in all OfficeMax stores as well as the company's Full Line Catalog and OfficeMax.com. In addition to labels, HP offers a wide range of HP branded everyday office and specialty papers for business and home printing.

Specially designed to provide optimal performance with all HP LaserJet and inkjet printers, HP White Address & Shipping Labels enable customers to use a single label optimized for all their printing needs. Tested rigorously to ensure quality and reliability, the new labels are jam-free, dry quickly to prevent smudges, and won't peel off while printing.

HP White Address & Shipping Labels produce crisp black text and vivid colors and are compatible with Microsoft Word and other standard label formatting software.

The new line includes an assortment of standard address and shipping labels in 25 and 100 sheet packs. Estimated U.S. street price varies from $9.99 to $35.99 and range in size from ½ x 1 ¾ to 8 ½ x 11 inches.
