New Headsets from JABRA For Nextel Mobile Phone Users

Aug. 7, 2002--JABRA Corp., the nation's leading provider of hands-free communication products, has unveiled their first headsets designed to work specifically with the entire family of Nextel phones.

These headsets require no adapter and have an in-line, push-to-talk button for Nextel Direct Connect, Nextel's digital two-way radio feature.

The JABRA EarBoom combines the advantages of JABRA's custom-fit EarGels with a short, flexible microphone boom that provides superior voice transmission, even when used outdoors. The JABRA EarWrap features a noise-canceling microphone that eliminates ambient sounds and flex-forming ear wraps that conform to your ear for hours of comfortable wear. Both products are now available with an in-line, push-to-talk button for Nextel Direct Connect. These products allow users to reach coworkers, family and friends with just the push of a button, listen to conversations privately and talk without holding the phone. JABRA's new models bring the safety and convenience of hands-free operation to all Nextel mobile phone users.

"Adding the push-to-talk functionality to our hands-free devices and providing connectivity without adapters for any Nextel phone will provide more freedom and flexibility for Nextel users," said Jennifer Cauble, vice president of marketing for JABRA Corp.

The new models will be available at JABRA retailers nationwide in August 2002. The MSRP for the JABRA EarBoom with push-to-talk button for Nextel Direct Connect will be $34.99, while the JABRA EarWrap with push-to-talk button for Nextel Direct Connect will be $39.99.
