Taking space requirements into mind, both the E-2000 and E-4000 are available in two chassis designs. The standard Micro Tower Three-Bay convertible chassis has one internal 3.5-inch bay and two external (one 5.25- inch & one 3.5-inch) bays; and the upgrade to the Six-Bay Mid Tower has two internal 3.5-inch bays, and four external (two 5.25-inch & two 3.5-inch) bays. Both the E-2000 and E-4000 provide room for additional functionality with six USB 2.0 ports (two in the front and four in the rear), three PCI slots, and legacy ports.
