Handango Announces Exclusive Software Alliance With Handspring

Companies Deliver Software to Consumers and Businesses for Handspring's Treo Communicators and Visor Handheld Computers March 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Handango, the world's leading publisher of handheld and wireless software, today announced an exclusive software alliance with Handspring (Nasdaq: HAND) to provide software to users of Handspring's new Treo communicators and Visor handheld computers. Together, the companies launched two online Handango-powered Software Stores, one for businesses and one for individuals. Enterprise customers and consumer users can find thousands of Palm OS applications ranging from vertical market software to productivity enhancements to games.

The Handango-powered Software Store for individuals is accessible by clicking "Third-party Software" at www.handspring.com/software . The store features new and updated software lists, a robust offering of wireless applications, user reviews, best sellers, Handango Essentials and a myriad of other features to help users find the right applications for work, home or play.

The two companies are also working together to provide enterprise customers with a quick, efficient process of locating and purchasing handheld and wireless software. By clicking on the "Software" tab at www.handspring.com/enterprise, enterprise customers can find applications for specific industries. Software to assist professionals in fields such as legal, healthcare and financial services is available for research and deployment. Utilizing the search function, enterprise customers can find software by industry, price, customer ranking and other criteria.
