FranklinCovey Introduces New FranklinCovey Planning Software
Specifically, the software synchronizes with Microsoft Outlook, Palm OS handhelds, Pocket PC devices, Lotus Notes, Lotus Organizer, ACT!, TrueSync supported Web-based calendars, and compatible wireless phones.
Today's mobile technology often requires workers to store, retrieve and edit information in a variety of devices and applications every day. TrueSync technology provides users a one-click, multi-point synchronization of all the changes in their information among every supported device and application simultaneously.
FranklinCovey Planning Software features the exclusive time management and productivity curriculum from FranklinCovey's What Matters Most workshop, in which more than 20,000 professionals are trained each month.
Additionally, the software is based upon the FranklinCovey Planning System principles practiced by more than 25 million people around the world who utilize the paper-based Franklin Planner, Premier School Agendas, and FranklinCovey Planning Software.
The software is equipped with multimedia training and automated wizards to help users build personal mission statements, identify governing values and personal roles, and set goals with weekly and prioritized daily tasks to accomplish what matters most to them.
With an updated user interface and customizable views, the software provides a clean planning environment, where every option is readily accessible, such as the new weekly task and appointment views. New navigation and icon tabs ease the switch between the main views -- My Planner, Info Manager, and What Matters Most with associated applications.
"We've integrated the latest technology into this version of FranklinCovey Planning Software in order to provide what current productivity tool users are requiring from a planning application," said Jeff Anderson, vice president and general manager of technology products at FranklinCovey.
"The software allows users to maintain a high-level of productivity by linking many of their tools together into one system. Now a combination of productivity devices can work together by utilizing FranklinCovey Planning Software as the core planning application."
FranklinCovey also bundles its software with a variety of Palm OS handhelds available through all FranklinCovey sales channels. FranklinCovey currently sells a variety of wireless phones, three of which are compatible with the FranklinCovey Planning Software through direct synchronization -- the Motorola V.60 and P.7382i, and the Samsung I300 Color Palm Powered.
The remaining compatible phones allow indirect synchronization through FranklinCovey Planning Software to Microsoft Outlook and then from Outlook to the wireless phone.
Additionally, the software features an easy-to-use print engine, which provides the capability of printing four sizes of FranklinCovey Planning Pages to carry in a FranklinCovey binder.
