ACD Systems Unveils ACDsee Mobile For Windows CE
Broadening of Technical Platforms and Applications;

ACDSee(TM) Mobile for Windows(R) CE for retail, on-line sales and original
equipment manufacturers (O.E.M.).
The Company's newest addition to its flagship product, ACDSee(TM), enables Pocket PC users to browse, manage, edit and share digital images quickly with such tools as rotate, crop, resize, level adjustment and add sound or text. Users can share photos and images easily through email or through "beaming" infrared transmissions. Sophisticated proprietary image viewing technology not only allows for viewing of very large images at full resolution using only limited memory, it also enables region of interest decoding. ACDSee(TM) Mobile for Windows CE supports most common image formats including JPEG, GIF, BMP and TIFF. The personal digital assistant (PDA) market is the fastest growing part of the personal computing market. The Consumer Electronics Association estimates that 9.6 million PDAs will be sold in 2001, up 57% from 2000. Based on ACDSee's success in the PC market, it is expected that ACDSee Mobile for Windows CE will obtain significant share of the mobile PDA market.
