Answering the call for a more phone like device, email giant RIM
has introduced its Blackberry 7100. This stylish handset adds Bluetooth
wireless and a much needed speakerphone to its rich email capabilities. Designed for heavy phone users, not the hard-core emailer, RIM had to incorporate the QUERTY keyboard on its dial pad in order to be a phone. Much different than existing Blackberry's, the new typing technology takes some getting used to. It's
difficult to watch the screen and type as its intuitive processor predicts the words, but with a little practice (and deprogramming if you are a current berry user) you are up and running. The oversized screen has a
dedicated area up top for its always-on inbox. Best of all, it sells for just $200. www.blackberry.net
