Acer Selects NVIDIA Mobile GPUs for New TravelMate Notebooks

June 28, 2005—NVIDIA Corporation today announced that Acer, one of the world’s leading PC OEMs, has selected the GeForce Go 6 series of graphics processing units (GPUs) for its new TravelMate notebooks. The GeForce Go 6200 GPU with TurboCache technology will be used in the Acer TravelMate 4150 notebook and TravelMate C310 Convertible Tablet PC, while the GeForce Go 6600 GPU has been selected for the TravelMate 4650. The GeForce Go 6 series of GPUs was selected for their ability to deliver rich multimedia and graphics capabilities while lowering overall system power consumption.
