Yesterday we told you about the new Optio W90 waterproof digital camera from PENTAX. If you're looking for camera with more zoom, PENTAX also announced the X90, the company's latest megazoom digital camera.

Featuring a 26X megazoom, super-telephoto lens (26-676mm equivalent), the 12.1 megapixel X90 also sports a 2.7 inch LCD with anti-reflection coating, electronic viewfinder with new diopter adjustment and includes a Macro mode that focuses to less than one inch away from photo subjects.

Additional features include:

• Triple Shake Reduction technology includes a mechanical sensor-shift SR mechanism, Digital Pixel Track and high ISO SR, and Movie SR

Just last month Casio introduced four new EXILIM digital cameras, and now at PMA Casio adds two more cameras to the EXILIM product line, the EX-S7 and EX-Z35.

The 12.1 megapixel EX-S7 features a 2.7 inch LCD screen, 3X optical zoom lens and shoots 720p HD video. The EX-S7 is compatible with SD and SDHC memory cards.

The camera also has Casio's Dynamic Photo, a green-screen effect which lets you add animated graphics into still photos to create your own e-greetings to share with friends. The EX-S7 will be available this spring for $139.99 in black and purple.

The 12.1 megapixel EX-Z35 was designed for those wanting a digital camera without hard-to-use controls and settings. The camera has an easy Mode function with a simplified menu screen, as well as Face Detection and a 3X optical zoom lens. The EX-Z35 will be available in March for $109.99. The PMA trade show is in full swing right now, and while many digital camera makers announced new products prior to the show, one company that held off was HP. This week at PMA, HP unveiled five new point-and-shoot digital cameras and three new camcorders.

HP's CW450t and HP PW460t digital cameras feature 2.7-inch and 3-inch LCD touchscreen displays, respectively, and a touch interface for viewing photos with the swipe of a finger. Both have 4X optical zoom and support up to 32-gigabyte (GB) SD/SDHC memory.

The CW450t will be available this spring in two colors – blue and merlot – and priced at $109. The PW460t will be available in pink and charcoal gray and priced at $149. Read more

It looks like Sony has decided to jump on the "waterproof, freeze-proof, shockproof and dust-proof" bandwagon with the announcement of the new Cyber-shot DSC-TX5.

The less than an inch thin TX5 features 10.2 megapixels, a three-inch Clear Photo LCD Plus wide touch screen display, 10fps continuous burst shooting, 25mm (equivalent) wide-angle 4x optical zoom Carl Zeiss Vario Tessor lens, and records 720p HD videos. But of course the big news is this camera works underwater up to 10 feet, is freeze-proof down to 14 degrees, can withstand a drop from approximately 5 feet and is dust-proof.

The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX5 comes in five colors – black, green, pink, red and silver - and will be available in April for $350.Read more

Yesterday we told you about Canon's new EOS Rebel T2i DSLR camera. Canon didn't forget about those who are looking for an everyday point-and-shoot digital camera. The company also introduced four new PowerShot digital cameras - the PowerShot SX210 IS, PowerShot SD3500 IS, PowerShot SD1400 IS and PowerShot SD1300 IS.

The 14.1-megapixel Canon PowerShot SX210 IS is a great choice for those wanting a compact digital camera that also shoots HD video. Features include a 3.0-inch wide LCD, a 28mm wide-angle lens with 14x Optical Zoom and Optical Image Stabilization. When shooting video, the PowerShot SX210 IS can zoom optically, shoot in stereo sound and also has Dynamic Mode Image Stabilization. PMA is coming up later this month and the new cameras announcements have already started rolling out. The latest is from Nikon. Today, Nikon introduced seven new COOLPIX digital cameras; the COOLPIX P100, S8000, S6000, S4000, S3000, COOLPIX L110 and L22.

The COOLPIX P100 is Nikon's first compact camera to offer full HD movie (1080p) recording with stereo sound. It also features a 3.0-inch Vari-Angle 460,000-dot Clear Color Display LCD and Electronic Viewfinder, 10.3 Megapixels, a 26x Optical Zoom-NIKKOR ED Glass Lens (27mm wide-angle to 678mm super-telephoto), HDMI connectivity, as well as a Backside illumination CMOS Sensor for high-speed continuous shooting at 10 frames per second (fps) at full resolution and beautiful pictures even in low light. Fujifilm today announced a slew of new FinePix digital cameras, and with 13 new models there is something for everyone – from the novice user, all the way to the serious photographer. They also announced several new Instax Instant film models and a brand new Medium Format Film camera. Here is a rundown of new products:

There were so many products introduced at the 2010 CES trade show earlier this month, we could write on them all year (and probably will!). Casio announced at the show four new EXILIM digital cameras, the High-Speed EXILIM EX-FH100, EXILIM EX-H15, EX-Z2000 and EX-Z550.

The High-Speed EXILIM EX-FH100 features Casio's high-speed burst shooting, 10.1 megapixels, a wide-angle 24 mm 10X optical zoom lens, and has a maximum burst rate of 40 shots per second for still images. It also enables up to 1,000 fps high-speed movie recording that captures motion that is ordinarily too fast for the human eye to see. The EX-FH100 has a mode dial for manual exposure burst shooting, as well as a mode that makes high-speed burst shooting easy, by choosing the optimal rate just by selecting the type of scene. PENTAX just announced three new digital cameras, the Optio 1-10, Optio H90 and a new, affordable Optio model priced under $100 - the E90!

The Optio I-10 is the first in the new Optio I line from PENTAX. With an SLR-shaped body, the Optio I-10 features a wide angle, 5X optical zoom lens (28mm-140mm equivalent), a 12.1 megapixel CCD sensor, 2.7 inch widescreen LCD, and HD video capture at 720p and 30 FPS. The camera also includes a mechanical sensor shift Shake Reduction system, Pixel Track Shake Reduction, Smile Capture, Blink Detection and Face Detection that spots up to 32 faces (including dogs and cats!).
