Zoran's Vaddis IV in Sharp's Hi-Fi VCR/DVD Player Combo

Zoran Corporation (Nasdaq: ZRAN) today announced that the Vaddis IV DVD video
processor IC enables the high fidelity audio and high-resolution video
playback capability in Sharp's DV-NC55 model Hi-Fi VCR and dual DVD/CD combo
player. Quite popular in Japan, Sharp's 430 mm wide compact-size player not
only enables users to playback videocassettes and DVD discs, they can also
record TV programs while simultaneously playing back a DVD disc.
The Vaddis IV's audio processor supports DTS and Dolby digital bit stream
outputs greatly enhancing the listening experience for users playing audio CDs
or rewritable CDs on the three-function disc player.
