Over 100,000 computer trade and industry professionals are gathered in Las Vegas this week for the 21st annual Comdex Trade Show. Billed as the world's largest computer and computer-related trade show, its here that plans and technologies are hatched that will soon be affecting our lives.
SURVIVAL IN THE DIGITAL AGE is the big trend at this year's show. During this post- PC boom hangover period, companies big and small are struggling to redefine themselves in the digital age.

Despite all the hype, Comdex is not as much about new products as it is about staking out territory in the digital frontier. With the holidays fast approaching companies don't want to muddy the water with new introductions. Hence, Comdex is really more about backroom meetings than show floor introductions.
