January 8, 2004 – Unwired Technology will unveil its completely refreshed line of state-of-the-art products at the 2004 Consumer Electronics Show. From sleek new graphics to hot new features and cool new products, Unwired’s 2004 line-up will thrill audiophiles of all ages at the CE industry’s premier event, January 8-11, 2004.

“As the global leader in wireless headphones for the automotive arena, we are committed to consistently updating and improving the look and performance of all our products to ensure their cutting-edge appeal to consumers everywhere,” said Unwired Technology President, Lawrence Richenstein. “Our new 2004 offerings, underscore Unwired’s ability to combine the latest technological advancements in wireless mobile entertainment with high-quality, consumer-friendly designs.”

Unwired Technology’s 2004 product line-up features reinvigorated releases as well as exciting all-new offerings, including:

Unwired’s All-New Wireless Headphones – For Kids Only!
Today, more than ever, entertainment is a family affair and, for the first time, Unwired will unveil wireless headphones designed expressly for children ages 3 and up. The new R1H-92410 meets ASTM standards for child safety, while offering exceptional sound quality for the younger set. The new headphones provide all the convenience of wireless technology – with no cumbersome wires to pose a danger to children. In addition, the R1H-92410 meets strict flammability requirements and offers such kid-friendly features as lead-free paint and a child-safe battery compartment. The new unit includes a custom-designed headband to fit snuggly and securely on small heads, and will be available in colorful, eye-catching clamshell packages at 12 Volt retailers nationwide beginning first quarter 2004 for an MSRP of $49.99.

Unwired’s 2-Channel Wireless Headphone System Gets an Upgrade!
Unwired’s popular UAH-S2 2-channel wireless headphone system will offer a number of new enhancements for 2004. Designed to deliver increased sound quality and optimum product performance, the new 2-channel system will feature an upgraded mini transmitter with 16 LEDs to ensure a strong signal throughout every vehicle. The unit’s newly-upgraded auto/off integrated circuit feature automatically shuts off the headphones after 3.5 minutes of inactivity when no IR (Infrared) signal is detected. Other new features of the 2-channel headphone system include thicker foam for greater consumer comfort and external noise reduction. Unwired’s 2-channel headphone system is available at 12-Volt retailers across the country for an MSRP of $199.99.

Unwired Adds More Fire to WhiteFire Wireless Headphone System!
This year marks the release of Unwired’s highly-anticipated, critically-acclaimed WhiteFire wireless audio system. A groundbreaking format for the wireless transmission of broadband digital data, the innovative WhiteFire automotive headphone system invites all passengers in a vehicle to tune in to as many as four distinct media sources through a single headphone – in full uncompressed digital stereo – simultaneously. The proprietary technology allows each user to select his/her own audio source from a variety of on-board alternatives such as DVD players, CDs, videogames, radios and other devices. Each WhiteFire wireless headphone contains a channel selector button that shifts from one audio source to another, and four LEDs to indicate which stereo channel is in use at any given time.

The 2004 release of Unwired’s WhiteFire will be accompanied by the introduction of a new accessory to the system, a small emitter that permits the front seat passenger to take full advantage of all media sources within the vehicle. The WhiteFire system carries an MSRP of $599.00 plus installation. The system includes a digital encoder box, LED (Light Emitting Diode) transmitter, and two four-source digital headphones; additional headphones are available for $179.00 each. The new emitter accessory may be purchased separately for an MSRP of $49.99 without installation.
