GoVideo and Implicit Networks to Demonstrate Portable Video Player at CES 2005
Jan. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Implicit Networks announced today that it is working with GoVideo, a consumer electronics pioneer, to demonstrate GoVideo's new next generation portable video player (PVP) at CES 2005.
Implicit Networks' software will be used to create an end-to-end solution including content management on the PC and PVP, access to premium content from online stores, playback of photos, movies, music, slideshows and playlists, as well as access to engaging mobile games. GoVideo will be demonstrating the capabilities of its new PVP at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas (Booth #14007 in the Las Vegas Convention Center's Central Hall).

Implicit's software for PVPs, the Implicit Media Player, includes a rich user interface, complete connectivity for home networks in wired, wireless and tethered modes, broad support for video, audio and still picture formats, and is available on Windows CE and Linux. The Implicit Media Player is configurable to support digital rights management for direct access to premium online movie and music services. In addition, the Implicit Media Player supports UPnP, UPnP AV, USB OTG/2.0, mass storage and connectivity with Implicit's PC software and web based services.
