Delphi Introduces New Mobile Video at CES

Jan. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Delphi will introduce its Delphi Mobile Video tomorrow at the 2004 International Consumer Electronics Show (Las Vegas Convention Center, North Hall, Booths #5206 and #5213). The attractive, compact single-disc overhead entertainment solution features an 8-inch monitor, an integrated DVD player with last position memory and the ability to play DVDs, VCDs, CDs, CD-Rs, CD-RWs and MP3-formatted CDs right in the vehicle. With its sleek design, small footprint and low profile, Delphi's Mobile Video has an anti-shock system to help prevent skipping and comes standard with two wireless headphones, auto dimming and a flip up/down damper mechanism that allows smooth release of the monitor panel at the user's pre-set angle.

Available in gray and neutral colors, the Delphi Mobile Video has two infrared (IR) sensors for convenient remote control access as well as front and back auxiliary external input jacks to connect compatible audio/video electronics for multiple entertainment options. For an additional audio signal, the built-in wireless FM transmitter can be used to transmit audio from Delphi's Mobile Video through the vehicle's radio. It also features two additional internal outputs and one internal input as well as a separate audio/video box.

The unit has soft touch paint for a high-class exterior and soft touch buttons for quiet operation. A variety of Delphi Mobile Video accessories are also available for purchase including IR wireless headphones, remote controls and universal installation kits. An extended warranty for the dealer- installed market is also available.

Based on Delphi's original equipment heritage, Delphi Mobile Video is manufactured with factory-grade components and has an original equipment- approved electronics design. Its sophisticated look and feel compliments any vehicle's interior for maximum, affordable entertainment.
