America Online Showcases the Latest AOL Products and Services at CES
January 4, 2002 - America Online will host an AOL Music "listening lounge" at the America Online booth (#12936) during the
International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) at the Las Vegas
Convention
Center, January 8-11th. The listening lounge will showcase AOL Music's
range
of leading music programming, products and services including the
popular
new
Radio@AOL service, hot new features like AOL Keyword: "First Listen" --
currently offering the world premiere of Brandy's newest single "What
About
Us?," AOL Keyword: Sessions@AOL -- with rare interviews and
performances, as
well as the latest from music areas across AOL's Web properties
including
Netscape, AIM, Compuserve and ICQ and music sites like Spinner, Winamp,
SHOUTcast and much more.
The AOL booth will also showcase the latest AOL products and services
to
keep
people connected, informed and entertained, such as AOL High-Speed
Broadband
services, AOLTV(SM), AOLbyPhone, the You've Got Pictures(SM) online
photo
service, as well as the new consumer electronics Complete Guides found
on
AOL's Computing Channel, a resource area designed to help AOL members
rese
arch, compare and make informed buying decisions regarding an array of
consumer electronics and computing products.
To highlight its mobile instant messaging offerings, AOL will demonstrate the new AOL Alerts service delivering instant updates on many topics including breaking news, sports, weather, stocks and more, sent directly to any wireless device. The booth will also feature demonstrations of the new Nokia 3390 phone with a built-in AOL® Instant Messenger(TM) service and the AOL Mobile Communicator(TM) two-way messaging device.
