Toshiba Announces New Line of LCD TV/DVD Combination Models

Sept. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Toshiba America Consumer Products, L.L.C. announced today the availability of its latest LCD TV/DVD combination products at this year's CEDIA Show to complement the emerging market for flat panel display products.

Highlighting the line-up is the SD-P7000 as it combines high definition capabilities with flat screen elegance. The SD-P7000 offers consumers a 17" LCD TV with a 16x9 high definition panel with 1280x768 pixel resolution. The SD-P4000 offers a 14" 4x3 LCD screen with 640x480 pixel resolution. Both models incorporate a built-in slot loading, progressive scan DVD player, adding to the product's intuitive design.

"We have expanded our LCD TV/DVD line to meet the market's momentum in flat panel display models."

All models offer additional features including 3-line Digital Comb Filters, Component video inputs (SD-P4000 = 480i/480p; SD-P7000 =480i/480p/720p/1080i) and VESA Mounting holes. The SD-P7000 offers an RGB PC Input with Mini Audio.

The SD-P5000 offers consumers an integrated 15" LCD TV with a 4x3 high- resolution (1024 x 768) screen, combined with a DVD player. The LCD display's double hinge design allows for multiple placement options for either a tabletop or wall mounting with VESA compliant 100mm hole configuration. Designed for the home or mobile use, this model offers an optional battery pack.
