Samsung's New HDTV DLP TVs 'Fit Where Others Won’t'September 9, 2005 — Samsung, showcases the latest advancements in the high definition television market with its 2005 lineup of 66 and 67 Series DLP TVs. Among the newest DLP stars is the HL-R5678W Wide Screen DLP Television one of the first to feature the advanced 1080p resolution. Also anchoring the line is the 67 Series Widescreen DLPs, which feature Samsung’s Cinema Smooth Light Engine, DNIe technology and 1280 x 720p resolution for a true HDTV experience. Select Samsung DLP models will be on display at the Samsung booth (#393) during CEDIA 2005, September 9-11 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. Samsung’s 67 Series of DLPs offers the ultimate asset for the HDTV lifestyle. Each of the televisions in the 67 Series features an elegant, tabletop casing incorporating Samsung’s striking new "floating-screen" design. Ranging from 13" to 18" deep, and weighing from under 65 to 95 pounds, the DLPs provide a slim, lightweight addition to any home décor. All of the units feature a built-in High Definition TV tuner/decoder, allowing the sets to receive most digital cable signals without a set-top box, further enhancing the convenience and modern design. The sets are perfect for custom installation and can be mounted on an available matching stand for pure visual harmony.
