New Gaming Headset for Football Fans
“He’s at the 10… the 5… touchdown!” Football is by far one of the most popular sports in America, with leagues all the way from pee-wee to high school, to college, to the National Football League. It’s only natural that others would want to take advantage of such a popular pastime. That’s why many football-related video games have been developed, such as ESPN NFL Football 2K4 for PS2, or Madden 2006 Football for the XBOX 360. But just using controllers does not quite replicate the intensity of the game. That’s why Motorola has released the plans for a new Video Gaming Headset X205—to get users into the experience of the game.
The Gaming Headset X205 is the first in a new line of products from Motorola relating to video games. Designed after the Motorola headset worn by NFL coaches, the X205 is sure to keep gamers in the intensity of the moment. The headset features a full mono ear cup, which lets users communicate with other players in the room, and inline volume / mute controls for comfort during long gaming sessions. All background noise is eliminated during headset use, making voice commands stand out clearly. The headset is perfect for communicating with fellow teammates during a loud, prolonged game.
The Gaming Headset X205 is compatible with both the XBOX 360 from Microsoft and Sony’s PlayStation2. Slated to be available to the public in June, no pricing information has been released at this time. www.motorola.com
