With the release of GameFace 360, Xbox 360 users can customize their personal box to showcase their personality.

Unlike stickers, which many people use to customize their personal items, the GameFace 360 lets users snap different designs in and out—so your faceplate can change with your mood. The two-piece clear faceplate is part of the package, along with 6 pre-printed designs (to start with, or for those who don’t feel like unleashing their inner artist). 15 blank skins are included for personal customization. The blank plate—or the first part of the faceplate—snaps smoothly onto the Xbox 360, while the clear front plate allows for port access while adding a shiny gloss to the chosen design.

Faceplates can easily be customized using a computer and a printer. The included software is compatible with both Macs and PCs (Windows 2000 and higher, or Mac OSX 10.2 or higher). After installing the software, images can be imported into the program and manipulated on the faceplate template. For the more software savvy, images can be imported in from programs such as Photoshop, or other image-manipulating programs. More than one image can be placed on the template. Printing is recommended at 300dpi or higher. If computers aren’t your thing, Nyko suggests drawing or painting the faceplate for a different look.
