Take to the Streets with The Fairmont Copley Plaza

This summer, the Fairmont Copley Plaza takes to the streets with its newest guest experience - the Copley Cruiser. The 125th anniversary model of the Custom Deluxe Cruiser bicycle will be available exclusively for guests during their stay. Guests will enjoy the wind in their hair and the sun on their backs as they cruise down some of the most historic streets and parks in Boston.

The Copley Cruiser is a replica of the original bicycle created in 1877 by Columbia Manufacturing of Westfield, Massachusetts. Like the Fairmont Copley Plaza, it offers refined elegance and classic tradition. The Copley Cruiser features a speedometer, clock, coaster brakes, white-walled tires, headlight, up-turned handlebars, luggage rack and even a horn. It is painted a deep rich opalescent blue and ivory and is accented with authentic frame decals from Columbia's original model.

The Copley Cruiser offers one of the best ways to experience and see Boston. The city’s gardens and trails - rich with history and architectural details - can be experienced in a more intimate way while riding a bike.

The Copley Cruiser will be available for $15 per person, per hour. In addition to the new Copley Cruiser, the Fairmont Copley Plaza offers its guests a Canine Ambassador, a black lab named Catie Copley who accompanies guests on walks through the city, complimentary Swan Boat tickets for families and complimentary transportation, based upon availability, in the hotel’s London Taxi. The Copley Cruiser, in addition to these other services, may be booked at the Concierge Desk.
