LE RÊVE at Wynn Las Vegas Celebrates 1,000 Performances
Wynn Las Vegas’ breathtaking show, “Le Rêve,” was performed for the 1,000th time on Saturday, September 29, 2007 at 10:30 p.m. To celebrate this milestone occasion, the first 500 ticket holders that entered the theater received a signature red swimming cap, a recognizable prop used by the clowns in the show.
“Le Rêve,” the evocative aqua spectacle in-the-round, opened concurrently with Wynn Las Vegas on April 28, 2005 and has since astounded audiences. Six performers and musicians, as well as 14 crew members, have performed in or worked on all 1,000 shows. In addition, 600,000 towels have been used, more than 6,400 pairs of red tango shoes have been repaired, and some 52,000 loads of laundry have been done—just a portion of the work involved in keeping a show like “Le Rêve” running 1,000 performances strong.
“Le Rêve” features an ambitious blend of aerial acrobatics, provocative choreography and outrageous antics from the colorful characters. “Le Rêve” is a unique entertainment experience with elaborate effects and powerful performances that conjure an imaginary world, at once intensely beautiful and breathtaking.
Inspired by the casual elegance of the resort it calls home, the “Le Rêve” Theater environment was completely remodeled in Spring 2007 with a warmer palate, the most luxurious seats on the Las Vegas Strip and the VIP Indulgence Package complete with champagne bottle service and behind-the-scenes video monitors. With seats no more than 12 rows from the stage, the theater provides an intimate setting which allows the audience to escape reality and let their imagination lead the way. The restyled “Le Rêve” Theater interior was designed by Mark Fisher and Roger Thomas. The new show lighting was designed by Jules Fisher and Peggy Eisenhauer and sound by Peter Hylenski.
Ticket prices are $99 (Splash Zone), $119 (Premium Seating) and $159 (VIP Indulgence Package), plus tax. The show schedule is 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, Monday and Thursday; 8:30 p.m. on Friday; 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on Saturday. The show is dark (no performances) on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
