For families, summer vacation means a much deserved break from school, work and the routines of daily life. The Travel Time Kit is a child-size suit case filled with trivia, fun activities and healthy treats for the car ride to Basin Harbor. Mailed in advance to each child on the plan, the personalized suitcase arrives with Basin Harbor themed crosswords, an on-the-road scavenger hunt, bottled water, crayons and paper, and snacks, among other items.

The Ultimate Family Getaway package includes a two-night stay in one of Basin Harbor's lakeside cottages, breakfast and dinner daily, tickets to the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum and Vermont Teddy Bear, a scavenger hunt, two hours of babysitting, Travel Time Kit, and a choice of putting clinic, tennis clinic or a boat cruise.

Guests of the plan are automatically enrolled in Basin Harbor's Children's Program, offering a summer camp atmosphere filled with activities and special events.
