Daily prices for two adults and two children begin at $316 per night. Package rates are based on two adults and two children (under age 11).

Sandestin's Family Golf Package is fun for the kids too when you book a tee time for you and your child at Baytowne Golf Club, a U.S. Kids Golf "Family Friendly” certified golf course complete with junior tee boxes with convenient course access from your accommodations at the Bayside Inn. Kids play free when accompanied by a paying adult and get a free one-of-a-kind kid's yardage guide and scorecard, and complimentary use of U.S. Kids Golf Clubs. Complimentary golf round valid for one child under 12 per paying adult and for rounds played Sunday through Thursday after Noon at Baytowne Golf Club. Restrictions apply. Prices are $260 per night.

The Stay & Play Golf Package is designed to give the full golf experience with the most convenience. Choose from four award-winning courses designed by three world-renowned architects. Golf car, greens fee and unlimited practice balls during your stay are included, price based on Baytowne Golf Club, but course upgrades are available. Stay in a spacious three-bedroom Dockside Villa conveniently located walking distance to the Baytowne and Raven Golf clubs and The Village of Baytowne Wharf in the heart of Sandestin. The package requires a minimum two rounds of golf and a two-night stay. Prices per person per night for four golfers in a three-bedroom Dockside Villa with one round per day at Baytowne Golf Club start from $157.

Aug. 25, 6:30 a.m., The 21st Annual Sandestin Triathlon begins at Finz Restaurant, with more than 650 people participating in a half-mile Gulf of Mexico swim, a 20-mile bike along the coast and a four-mile run throughout Sandestin's beach-and-bayside community. 850/267-6263

In addition, summer heats up with a series of weekly events for the whole family.
