Audiovox Enters Digital Picture Frame Market

Jan. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Audiovox Corporation has entered a new digital market with the introduction of three LCD screen photo frames that bring another dimension to viewing your favorite photos. It's as easy as watching a slide show without the set-up headaches, and it makes having only one or two pictures on your desk or workspace a thing of the past.

Tom Malone, Senior VP, Sales says, "The Audiovox Digital Picture Frames are the newest entree of our very successful consumer electronics product line. They capitalize on the consumer trend to expand the display options for their personal photos."

The new products allow for a download of as many as 30 or 40 photos in MP 3 or AVI-formatted video files from SD, MC and/ or Memory Stick. The images display with crystal-clear 800 x 600 pixel quality display on the LCD frames at adjustable time intervals. The three models come in 7, 8 and 10.4-inches and feature an internal 32MB flash memory and a frame-scanning program that ensures distortion free imaging and fills the screen regardless of original photo size.

For added versatility the systems include digital media-scheduling software with calendar, clock and alarm and comes with interchangeable frame trims in black, white and wood grain that insure the frames will match any decor.
