The best kinds of memories are often triggered from viewing photos taken at spontaneous moments—sports games, laughing fits, dance parties, and so on. Unfortunately, many of those spontaneous moments are never captured, thanks to blurry photographs. Even cameras that have anti-blur features can be hard to use in spur of the moment situations. That’s where Sony’s Cyber-shot DSC-T30 camera comes in.

The DSC-T30 features two different forms of anti-blur protection. The Super Steady Shot optical image stabilization system detects shaky hand movement, and sends sensors to a stabilization lens to get rid of the blur. Shooting at the new shutter speed of ISO 1000 allows beautiful pictures to be taken at low light and fast speeds, eliminating some of the fast movement blur.

The DSC-T30 also features Sony’s innovative Carl Zeiss 3x optical zoom lens that, even when fully extended, does not protrude beyond the camera’s body. The 7.2 megapixel camera has a 3” Clear Photo LCD plus screen, which makes images easy to read, even in bright sunlight. Internally, there is 58MB of memory, but with an (optional) Memory Stick Duo card, memory can be expanded up to 2GB. The life of the High Stamina InfoLithium rechargeable battery is 420 pictures; the battery also shows just how much juice is left in it, before it needs time to quickly recharge.

The credit-card sized camera also features unlimited video and audio recording (limited by memory space only) and in-camera slideshow features that you can add your own music too. Not only can camera settings be adjusted to take black and white or sepia-toned photos, but color settings can be adjusted as well. Color can be set to standard, subtle, or vivid, depending on the intensity of the color palate in front of you.
