Smile! It’s Two New Cyber-shots from Sony
Sony recently announced two new cameras in its Cyber-shot line --the DSC-T200 and DSC-T70 (both 8-megapixels). The cameras feature a new smile shutter function, which automatically detects a person smiling. The function can be turned off by pressing the shutter while in smile shutter scene mode (you know, for the disgruntled child in the portrait). Both feature a touch screen that allows you to select the subject you want to focus on (in shooting mode) and what you want to view or where you want to zoom (in playback mode).
The 8-megapixel DSC-T200 model features a 3.5-inch wide LCD touch-panel and a 5x Carl Zeiss optical zoom lens. It is available now in silver, black and red for $399.99.
The 8-megapixel DSC-T70 camera features a 3-inch wide LCD touch panel and a 3x Carl Zeiss optical zoom lens. It will be available in silver, black, white and pink for $299.99 and is expected to ship by October 8, 2007. www.sonystyle.com
