Casio EXILIM EX-Z5
More experienced photographers will find the EXILIM EX-Z5 exciting as well. Rapid Flash allows for three photos to be taken in succession over a one-second interval. So, that spur-of-the-moment photo will still come out, without worrying about the image not turning out because of a missing flash. The flash has 4 different functions and settings, including a soft flash and a red-eye reduction setting. The EX-Z5 also features Casio’s Revive Shot, which is intended to help restore old photographs. Faded and damaged photos can be photographed right out of the album, and through digital restoration by trapezium correction, the colors appear brighter and shinier than ever. Also included is a Date Edit function, which allows users to correct the date and time—handy for use when traveling, or when you’ve just forgotten to set the date and time. Other features include video and voice recording; a self-timer (10 seconds, 2 seconds, triple self-timer); and ISO settings of 50, 100, 200, and 400. The EXILIM EX-Z5 comes with a lithium ion battery that lasts up to 180 shots and 8.3MB of internal storage, with room for an SD or MMC card for extra memory (not included). Other included accessories are: a battery charger, a USB 2.0 cable, an AV cable, a hand strap, and a CD-ROM for computer-usage instructions. The Casio EXILIM EX-Z5 will be available summer 2006.
