When a Little Movie Will Do

Family using 8cm DVD Whether it’s a memorable vacation, an elegant wedding or just the kids playing soccer; it is sometimes difficult to fill a full 2-hour DVD with exciting, memorable video memories. In addition, a growing number of DVD camcorders are being introduced. All of the discs can go directly from the DVD camcorder or DVD burner and immediately be played in virtually any DVD player.

For the best in family short subjects, Verbatim has introduced a family of miniDVD media both DVD-R and DVD-RW as well as double layer DVD-R discs. Like the company’s popular Digital Movie DVD media, the discs look like movie reels. But unlike the larger discs, the 3-inch single layer Mini DVD discs hold 1.4GB of data (compared to 4.7GB) and the mini DL discs hold 2.66GB. The single layer capacity is equal to about 30 minutes of video while the dual layer discs hold about one hour of personal/family highlights.
