Viking Offers Freestanding Refrigeration

Sept. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- The Viking refrigeration line continues to expand with the addition of freestanding "cabinet-depth" refrigerator/freezers. These new refrigeration models also complete the Viking line of "replacement" appliances.

"While a large portion of our customers have the advantage of starting with a clean slate when designing their full Viking kitchen, there are always some that must fit a refrigerator into an existing space," said Sue Bailey, Viking Manager, Product Development - Major Appliances. "Viking Range's freestanding refrigerator/freezers give consumers the option of freestanding or built-in along with three options in door configurations."

These cabinet depth models allow the refrigerator/freezers to integrate with surrounding cabinetry. The units can be installed as either freestanding or placed into a cutout space. An optional grille and side trim accessories provide a finished "built-in" look. These units can also be completely encased in stainless steel using the optional side panels and grille accessories. The refrigerator's interior consists of an electronic temperature control system with a digital readout, and a temperature adjustable MeatSavor/produce drawer. Door configurations consist of a French door bottom-mount model, a single door bottom-mount model and a side- by-side model with or without an ice and water dispenser on the door. These EnergyStar units are available as Professional or Designer stainless steel units.
