KitchenAid Offers Limited Edition Stand Mixers in Nickel and Copper

Dec. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- The most powerful model of the essential KitchenAid Stand Mixer is now available in "true metal" Brushed Nickel and Satin Copper versions exclusively at Williams-Sonoma. These limited edition Professional 620 models, priced at $899, feature plated nickel and copper housings, instead of the painted, metallic-on-zinc finishes found on other KitchenAid mixers.

"This is truly the ultimate version of the ultimate countertop appliance," notes KitchenAid Marketing Director Brian Maynard. "It's designed to be used often and displayed prominently."

Featuring 10 speeds, a 575-watt motor and a 6-quart stainless-steel bowl, the KitchenAid Professional 620 model can handle up to 14 cups of flour. A redesigned stainless 11-wire whip offers superior aeration and faster results when whipping ingredients like egg whites or cream. A PowerKnead spiral dough hook replicates hand-kneading and can stand up to double batches of bread dough.

As with other KitchenAid stand mixers, the new Professional 620 stand mixer goes beyond mixing and kneading. It can do everything from grinding meat and slicing vegetables to rolling out pasta dough and making ice cream. The power hub found on every KitchenAid stand mixer head accommodates more than a dozen optional attachments, each of which taps its powerful motor to perform a different function.

Since the introduction of its legendary stand mixer in 1919 and first dishwasher in 1949, KitchenAid has built on the legacy of these icons to create a complete line of products designed for cooks. From countertop appliances to cookware, ranges to refrigerators, and whisks to wine cellars, KitchenAid now offers virtually every essential for the well-equipped kitchen.
