HoMedics Interactive Sweepstakes puts Gamers in the Driver’s SeatAugust 7, 2006 – HoMedics, the industry leader in personal care and wellness products, is launching a product geared specifically for the gaming community – the HoMedics iCush. The iCush is the first portable cushion that syncs sound directly to massage vibes, allowing users to become totally surrounded in an audio and sensory experience. They feel every turn, crash, fight and explosion as the iCush vibrates in sync with sound, enabling them to feel at one with the game. To celebrate the launch of this new cushion HoMedics has developed “Crank up the Game,” an instant win & sweepstakes. Players have the opportunity to rev up their engines and race an interactive car to the finish line in hopes of securing a victory and a multitude of prizes worth anywhere from $15 to $10,000. Starting August 20th, gamers can access the sweepstakes by going to http://homedics.eprize.net/crankupthegame. Single players can compete daily for the opportunity to win the Ultimate Home Gaming system, a setup that features a Dell Dimension computer with two 30” monitors, 2GB memory, 160 GB hard drive, 16X DVD ROM, 16X DVD ROM, 16X DVD+/_RW, keyboard, optical mouse and speaker set. Gamers also have the opportunity to build their dream racing team by encouraging three of their friends to sign up for the sweepstakes. These four member dream teams will battle it out on the virtual raceway for a chance to score four yet-to-be-released Sony PlayStation 3 systems – one for each driver. Crossing the finish line in the HoMedics “Crank Up the Game” sweepstakes can also mean cashing in on some instant prizes. 25 randomly selected participants will receive a $25 (AMEX/Best Buy) gift card and 100 players will instantly win a $15 iTunes gift card. “HoMedics created the iCush in part to help gamers reach the next level of interactivity and add to the excitement of playing video games,“ said Chief Marketing Officer Barb Westfield. “The ‘Crank up the Game’ sweepstakes is a way for this community to heighten their fun factor and potentially win some coveted prizes.” Grand prize winners will be chosen at random in early January 2007, but players can view their game score rankings on the Web site throughout the duration of the sweepstakes. The iCush is currently available at national retail outlets for a suggested price of $119.99. SOURCE HOMEDICS []Similar |
