'Disney's Little Einsteins' Rockets to Stores

Sept. 22, 2006--Buena Vista Games, Inc. (BVG), the interactive entertainment affiliate of The Walt Disney Company, today announced the availability of "Disney's Little Einsteins" for the Game Boy Advance. Based on the hit Playhouse Disney television series on the Disney Channel, "Disney's Little Einsteins" is a game that lets kids and parents embark on new adventures with their favorite characters from the show. Developed by InLight Entertainment, Inc., "Disney's Little Einsteins" is rated E for Everyone by the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) and is available for $19.99.

"'Disney's Little Einsteins' is not only an entertaining experience, it's also a great way for parents and preschoolers to play together," said Craig Relyea, vice president of marketing, Buena Vista Games. "Children will enjoy hopping aboard Rocket with their friends from the show, and parents can trust 'Disney's Little Einsteins' to provide an enriching, high-quality game experience."

"Disney's Little Einsteins" features six different modes of gameplay, including matching pieces of music, dancing over flower buds, steering Rocket to avoid obstacles, and bringing classic art to life. Each mission begins by introducing a famous piece of art, and then transports the children (via Rocket) to different environments where they must gather instruments, which they use to play segments of well-known classical music.

Key Features:

  • Experience seven multi-level missions and 21 games with classic pieces of art and music
  • Six different types of gameplay, including steering Rocket to avoid obstacles
  • Select from two different difficulty settings

About Disney's Little Einsteins
Created by The Baby Einstein Company and the Playhouse Disney block on Disney channel, Disney's Little Einsteins takes preschoolers on fun, musical missions, introducing them to classical music, celebrated works of art and the wonders of nature. In Fall 2005, Disney's Little Einsteins was the highest-rated TV series premiere ever on Playhouse Disney and continues to be a hit. Preschoolers join in the fun as they watch Leo, June, Quincy and Annie take off in their space ship, "Rocket," to explore the real world around them, using their problem-solving skills to complete "missions of the day." Disney's Little Einsteins celebrates individual talents, lifelong curiosity, active listening and teamwork.
