Dance, Destroy, Brawl and Crawl – Midway Shipping Four Titles for Nintendo Wii

November 17, 2006--Midway Games Inc. today announced that it is shipping four titles for Nintendo’s newest home console, the innovative Nintendo Wii. Happy Feet the videogame and The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy are available at a U.S. MSRP of $49.95 each, and Rampage: Total Destruction is available at a U.S. MSRP of $29.95. The Ant Bully the videogame is expected to ship shortly after the launch of the Nintendo Wii and will have a U.S. MSRP of $49.95.

“The unique features of the Nintendo Wii should appeal to a wide audience of gamers, as well as attract new players,” said Steve Allison, chief marketing officer, Midway. “Midway’s initial Wii titles will offer something for everyone, with the Wii-mote controlled characters from Happy Feet the videogame and The Ant Bully the videogame, or the multiplayer madness of The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy and Rampage Total: Destruction.”

All four of Midway’s initial Wii titles make use of the Nintendo Wii’s motion-sensing controller. In Happy Feet the videogame, players can control the main character Mumble by moving the controller up, down, left and right while he swims and belly-sleds. Flicking the controller in the correct direction will help Mumble dance. The Ant Bully the videogame, Rampage: Total Destruction and The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy all use sweeping motions to help onscreen characters grab, kick, roll or throw.

About Happy Feet the videogame
Based on Warner Bros. Pictures' comedy adventure Happy Feet, Midway's immersive videogame puts the player in the “tap shoes” of Mumble, a young penguin born into a nation of singing Emperor Penguins where each needs a heart song to attract a soul mate. Unfortunately, Mumble is the worst singer in the world… however, as it happens, he is a brilliant tap dancer!

Players will be able to experience life from the point of view of Mumble through music, dance and interaction with friends and enemies in his world. Through the course of the game, Mumble will belly-sled, dance and swim through Antarctica on an amazing adventure. The exciting game play features a number of different play modes and is complemented by a playful and lively music soundtrack.
