Tripp Lite Introduces New Noteables Bluetooth USB 2.0 Adapter

July 12, 2006—Tripp Lite has expanded its successful Noteables™ Notebook Computer Accessories product line with the addition of a Bluetooth USB 2.0 Adapter (Model #: U260-000-R).

Tripp Lite’s Bluetooth USB 2.0 Adapter provides cable-free connections to up to seven Bluetooth-enabled devices such as PDAs, cell phones, printers and other computers, allowing users to create a wireless Personal Area Network. Simultaneous connection to multiple devices combined with Bluetooth wireless technology allows for all mobile and fixed computer devices to be completely coordinated, giving users mobile access to their personal data. In addition, the adapter works with all Bluetooth v1.1 and v1.2 devices, eliminating any compatibility issues.

“With the continued growth and popularity of wireless technology, the need to easily and safely connect wireless devices has become critical to customer satisfaction,” stated David Posner, Tripp Lite’s Product Manager for Cables and Connectivity. “Our new Bluetooth USB adapter fills this need with convenient, secure connection to up to seven wireless devices.”

Power from the adapter is supplied by the notebook computer’s USB port, so there is no need for an external AC adapter. Data is kept secure with 128-bit encryption, which is almost impossible to intercept, and AFH (adaptive frequency hopping) technology eliminates interference.
