Avery Makes Indoor Time Delightful When the Weather Outside is Frightful

But with Avery Dennison's new line of craft and scrapbooking products, kids will look forward to the hibernation time with their family.

In late 2006, Avery Dennison Office Products Company launched a new line of scrapbooking products that can be used to create unique and personalized scrapbook pages. "Wintertime scrapbooking lets you relive those summer picnics and pool parties by recording the memories," said Terese White, Senior Product Manager for Avery Dennison.

To help close the digital divide of scrapbooking, each product comes with a PC- and Mac-compatible CD that includes pre-designed templates, digital designs, elements and clip art. With just a computer and an ink jet printer, snowbound crafters can while away the hours making 12" borders, tags, titles, captions and journal entries with personal quotes, favorite designs, matching colors, and even photos for their scrapbooks.

Avery's scrapbooking products come in different sizes, die-cut shapes and finishes. The products are acid and lignin-free and are repositionable.

In addition to its scrapbooking products, Avery offers a line of T-Shirt transfers and a new Paper Poster Kit. The T-Shirt transfers, available for light and dark fabrics, allow crafters to print out and iron personalized photos and text on T-Shirts, aprons, mousepads, tote bags and more. "It's fun designing a new T-Shirt or sweatshirt yourself," said White. Avery's T-Shirt Transfers are guaranteed to feed easily through most ink jet printers, are designed for use on either light-colored or dark colored cotton/ polyester blend fabric, and now come with free Hanes T-Shirt Maker Software, a $19.95 value.

The new Paper Poster Kits make it easy to create an 18" x 24" poster on the computer. Using a simple three-step process, consumers can easily create professional-looking signs with the software that comes with the kit. Utilizing its expertise in adhesives, Avery Dennison has developed unique print-to-the-edge, repositionable adhesive sign sheets that align easily and don't require cutting or pasting. The result is a virtually seamless look once the sign is assembled.

T-Shirt Transfers
