Verizon Wireless and Samsung Announce the SCH-a930 V CAST Music Phone

June 5, 2006 – Verizon Wireless and Samsung Telecommunications America (Samsung) today announced the availability of the SCH-a930, a wireless phone that transforms customers into toe-tapping, head-bobbing karaoke stars. The SCH- a930 is the latest phone to offer V CAST Music and includes dual stereo speakers, removable memory slot and dedicated music playback keys.

V CAST Music lets customers play music on their wireless phones – the same device they have come to rely upon for entertainment, information and mobile communication. V CAST customers can browse, preview, download and play high-quality digital music from their SCH-a930 over Verizon Wireless’ broadband network – the most award- winning wireless broadband network in the nation – or in the Verizon Wireless V CAST Music online store.

The number of songs is limited only by the size of the microSDTM memory card* being used in the SCH-a930’s expandable memory slot and customers can manage their music on multiple cards, enabling them to take even the largest music collection with them wherever they go.
