The HD Digital Radio Alliance, which is a joint initiative of leading radio broadcasters to accelerate the successful rollout of HD Digital Radio, reports more than 1,000 radio stations nationwide are HD Radio broadcasters, with more than 400 offering HD2 channels, with additional HD2 multicast channels going live each week.

RadioShack stores offering HD Digital Radio allow customers to hear firsthand the high-quality HD Digital Radio sound of favorite programming plus new, expanding choices via local-market HD2 sub-stations, available only with the new HD Radio receivers. The Accurian HD Radio delivers FM signals with near-CD quality sound minus the static, pops, crackles, or fades common with traditional terrestrial radio.
