Paradigm Releases New Floorstanding Millenia 300 and On-Wall Millenia 30

January 8-11 –Paradigm Electronics Inc., an international leader in speaker design and manufacturing expands its lifestyle Paradigm® Reference Millenia™ Series with two extraordinary new models: Millenia™ 300, a 6-driver 2-½-way floorstanding speaker and Millenia™ 30, a 5-driver 2-way on-wall LCR speaker.

These new models are slightly larger and more powerful versions of the Millenia™ 200 and on-wall Millenia™ 20 launched in 2006. Perfect for today’s society where ‘thin is in’ the chic and slender Millenia™ Series satisfies a long-overlooked need in the marketplace for lifestyle design backed by true high-end state-of-the-art performance.

Ideal in larger rooms, the ‘300’ has six and the ‘30’ has five state-of-the-art drivers including: a 1-inch S-PAL™ satin-anodized pure-aluminum dome tweeter, ferro-fluid damped and cooled; two 5-1/2-inch MLP™ mica-loaded co-polymer polypropylene bass/midrange cones with powerful neodymium magnets centered in Paradigm’s new HTD™ heat transfer and dissipation system; and the ‘300’ has three and the ‘30’ two 5-1/2-inch precision-engineered mineral-filled polypropylene bass cones, also with neodymium magnets and the new HTD™ system.

All models in the series feature a composite MDF/aluminum baffle and acoustically inert extruded-aluminum enclosure. The dramatic side curvature of the enclosure provides exceptional structural integrity with no significant resonances. At a fraction of the thickness of a standard wood enclosure the extruded design affords all the performance benefits of a larger speaker in a significantly slimmer package. Without sacrificing an ounce of sound quality these super-slim designs are an aesthetically appealing complement to today’s flat-panels, fitting perfectly into even the most avant-garde décor.

Millenia 300 sits in a molded base fitted onto a tempered glass bottom plate — a sophisticated touch that also stabilizes the ultra-slim floorstanding design. Millenia 30 can be wall-mounted or placed on top of a television or shelf. An adjustable support is included with the ‘30’ to provide stability when it is used in the horizontal configuration as a center channel on top of a television or shelf. Logos on the on-wall models can be repositioned for a vertical or horizontal configuration.
