Panasonic's Plasma Concierge Service Assists Father's Day Shoppers

June 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Panasonic, the market and technology leader in Plasma HDTVs, announced today that it is offering all consumers access to its highly rated Plasma Concierge(TM) toll-free information service today through June 17, 2007. Usually only available to Panasonic HD Plasma owners, the service will be accessible, for a limited time, to any consumer who would like to learn about HDTVs from a live expert.

With Father's Day upon us and growing interest in HDTVs, Panasonic is opening its Plasma Concierge service based on the popularity of a similar initiative during the 2006 holiday shopping season, which was extended through the college and professional football championships in January and early February.

Panasonic's award-winning Plasma Concierge Program, which began in June 2006, offers its Panasonic Plasma owner members an exclusive range of important and unique features including live access to specialized Plasma TV consultants, a loaner program if a unit needs to be removed for repair, on- line chat capabilities and call staff that are empowered to resolve issues swiftly.

In addition to answering basic and technical questions, Panasonic Plasma Concierge experts will work with consumers to help them determine the type of flat panel television that best suits their needs by asking them key questions about their TV-watching environment, viewing habits, room design/dimensions and lighting.
