New Envision 27-inch LCD HDTV with HDMI Interface

Sept 2006 – Envision Peripherals Inc. (EPI), home to the AOC and Envision branded displays, just introduced a new state-of-the-art LCD HDTV ideal for any room in the home. Featuring advanced display technology to produce the most brilliant picture quality from any High-Definition or standard program source, the new 27-inch Envision L27W461 joins the previously announced Envision 32-inch LCD and 42-inch and 50-inch plasma HDTV models. The L27W461 has a suggested retail price of $899.

Built for the astute consumer seeking the best value in a high-quality HDTV, the wide-screen, 16:9 format Envision L27W461 exceeds expectations with its striking 1366x768 picture resolution, dramatic 1,000:1 contrast ratio and an ultra-wide 176 degree viewing angle. The unit’s 8-millisecond response rate delivers exceptional clarity for viewing fast-paced action programming or when playing the latest video games.

Designed to catch the eye whether on or off, the attractively styled L27W461 features a high-gloss, two-toned cabinet, slender 4.3-inch side profile and unobtrusive front-mounted control panel. Engineered to be wall-mountable or to rest firmly on any table or countertop with its included stand, the unit fits perfectly in any living room, bedroom, bathroom or kitchen setting. To help eliminate the unsightly cord clusters common with home theater systems, the unit additionally features a rear-mounted cable manager.

The LCD display panel features multiple built-in tuners (ATSC/Clear-QAM/NTSC) for reception of digital and analog over-the-air transmissions with an external antenna and clear QAM digital cable transmissions, all without an additional set-top box. A High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI), which simplifies cabling and delivers crystal-clear, all-digital video and audio, is also included. Additional video inputs allow up to eight simultaneous connections to the latest digital multimedia content sources such as DVR devices, Blu-ray player, game console or digital video camera.
