Klegg Electronics Launched Three New Genesis Products At 2007 CES
January 16, 2007 -- Klegg Electronics, Inc announced today that they unveiled three new additions to their “Genesis” product line at the 40th annual International CES Tradeshow in Las Vegas, NV. The new products included the next generation Klegg Genesis Internet Enabled flat panel 40” and 46” LCD TVs with an embedded Windows XP chip that allows viewers to surf the net, check e-mail and access their digital media files. The suggested retail cost will be $2899 for the 40” TV and $3599 for the 46” TV.
In addition to the Genesis Internet Enabled flat panel LCD TVs, the Company introduced a Genesis Vista Home Entertainment Media Server and a Klegg Genesis V-12 Portable GPS Media Player. The new Vista Media Server features standard CE device outputs including HDMI and Optical, a Blu-ray Burner, optional expanded onboard storage of three terabytes and will retail starting at $2999. The Genesis Portable GPS Media Player is three and one half inches long and weighs only one and a half pounds; the state-of-the-art System features door to door voice navigation, plays digital video and audio MP3 files and offers optional Bluetooth wireless technology. The portable GPS media player will retail at approximately $299.
Klegg Electronics launched its new “Genesis” line of flat panel televisions, speaker systems and Klegg mini MP3 and MP4 players earlier this year. The new Genesis products feature the same quality components as the Klegg Platinum Line of high-end high-performance products but are geared toward a broader consumer electronics market with lower pricing and greater retail distribution www.genesisbyklegg.com. Prior to the launch of Genesis, the Company’s primary channel for distribution of its products was high-end specialty retailers and custom installers.
The Company recently entered into a joint development agreement with a research facility in Taiwan. The new agreement will allow Klegg to reduce development costs and time to market and still offer Genesis customers the same next generation technology that Klegg’s high performance Platinum Series is known for.
Dennis Gentles, CEO of Klegg Electronics said, “We believe that our ability to provide consumers with quality, value and cutting edge product innovation will help to build the new Klegg Genesis brand into a leader in the $21 billion consumer electronics market.” He added, “The new Genesis products attracted over 2,500 visitors to Klegg’s CES booth and the positive response was overwhelming.
